Unsubscribe a contact from your AI tool or your own bot

When someone asks to stop marketing messages, Claude, ChatGPT or your own bot can now record it in Minimo, through the MCP server or a public API, following your opt-out settings.

"Please stop sending me promos" is a request you have to honour every time, wherever it arrives. Until now it only reached Minimo if it came through Minimo's own assistant.

Now it can come from anywhere you work.

  • From your AI tool. Ask Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor with the Minimo MCP server to unsubscribe someone, and it records the opt-out in Minimo. The MCP server also tells these tools that unsubscribe requests go there, so they handle them on their own.
  • From your own bot. If your WhatsApp is answered by your own bot, it can call the new public opt-out API with the contact's phone number, email or ID.

Either way, Minimo applies your workspace's opt-out setting: all marketing channels at once (WhatsApp, email and SMS), or only the channel the person asked on. Order updates, confirmations and other transactional messages keep reaching them, and every opt-out is recorded with where it came from.

The API is in the docs.
